Addy Green has been cast in a lead role in an exciting new web series called "The Maroon Colony." The series is about four kids, one of which is played by Green, who are all former child prodigies who just aren't anymore. And so, after years of not doing anything and/or failing abysmally, they've been cut off from their trust funds by their parents are being forced to go out into the real world and get jobs. The only problem is, they don't have any real skills. It's kind of the extended metaphor for our generation: everyone's educated, erudite, well travelled, but no one has real jobs because no one has real skills.
Green is proving to be one of the busiest young talents in Hollywood. This casting is just the latest for her, as she has two others feature films that are now in post production and due out this summer or fall, Muck and The House of Lizzie Borden. She can also be seen in the soon to be released Aaron Eckhart (from The Dark Knight) film, Incarnate.
"I am so looking forward to this web series," Green said. "The story is so interesting and so timely. I think a lot of people are going to be drawn to it. And I look forward to working on a web series. The web has become such an important medium and I am not surprised so many kown stars are nvolved these days in web projects. So this is going to be a nice addition to my work."
Green is also a successful model, having just done a catalog shoot for Hem + Grommet and having worked with some of the best photogtaphers in the business in her extensixe portfolio. She has also walked the runways for several designers at L.A.'s famous L.A. Fashion Week.
